About me
Currently, I am studying my Certificate III in Information Technology at Chisholm Institute on their Frankston campus.
I had been enrolled at Chisholm before, in my high school days for my Certificate II in Games Design. In the same classroom, in the same building, no less.
This site is part of my assessment task to create a functional, mobile-first, and accessible website that provides information efficiently to the end-user, especially those on mobile devices or those with a disability.
Why photography?
Initially, I had some trouble deciding what my project's topic should be about. I wanted to do it on hockey, as I am a huge fan of the sport and like to attend games at the O'Brien Icehouse, but the pool of images that I was satisfied with that I'd be able to freely use without copyright issues was rather bleak. I had some of my own photos, but many of them were poor quality.
I realised while looking for images that I could actually use, that my own photography I'd coincidentally been taking lately on my daily walks would work rather well. Everyone carries a phone around with them these days, and usually (outside of budget phones) the cameras attached to them are actually pretty solid. So I went with it! I had a few years worth of high quality photos taken with my Google Pixel 6 Pro, so I just had a scroll and picked out a select few I was satisfied with using.
